Is PickLineup free?

Yes. You can create a lineup, edit names and shirt numbers, customise kit colours and export a PNG without signing up.

Can I create a football or soccer starting XI online?

Yes. Select 11-a-side, choose a formation and add your starting players. PickLineup works for both football and soccer lineups.

Which player counts and formations can I choose?

Choose 5-, 6-, 7-, 9- or 11-a-side. Each format has its own formation options, such as 1-2-1 for 5-a-side, 2-2-1 for 6-a-side, 2-3-1 for 7-a-side, 3-3-2 for 9-a-side and 4-3-3 for 11-a-side. Formation numbers describe the outfield players; the goalkeeper is included in the team count.

Which 9-a-side formations are available?

Choose 3-3-2, 3-2-3, 3-4-1 or 2-4-2. Each 9v9 lineup has a goalkeeper and eight outfield players. The default shape is 3-3-2.

Can I add substitutes and shirt numbers?

Yes. Enter player names and shirt numbers, add substitutes and choose whether to show the bench on the pitch graphic.

Can I download and share my lineup?

Use Export PNG to download the lineup image, then attach it to a message or social post. The share buttons share a link to PickLineup; they do not create a saved-lineup link.

Can I save a lineup for later?

Yes. Save Browser Draft stores the lineup in this browser. Return using the same browser to reopen it; drafts do not sync between devices.
